What creators can see in their reel insights
Reel insights are built from totals: views, likes, comments, saves, shares, reach and watch time. Every one of them is a number. Instagram has never offered creators a list of the people who saved, shared or downloaded a reel.
Instagram hasn’t said publicly whether a download made with its own button is added to the share count. Even if it is, it would show up as one more in a total, not as your name.
Why reels and stories work differently
